STEPS FOR DELETING A TAG IN GOOGLE TAG MANAGER

  1. Login Google Tag Manager.
  2. Ensure the tag you want to delete is in the list of tags of that specific Google Tag Manager account.
  3. Browse to the “Tags” section.
  4. Click open the Tag you want to delete.
  5. In the top right corner of that specific “tag” page is a menu with three vertical dots (top right corner)
  6. Click those three vertical dots
  7. Choose “Delete” from that menu.
  8. Viola! Your tag is now deleted.
