HOW TO DELETE AN AIRBNB LISTING

For many reasons airbnb hosts might want to permanently delete their current airbnb listing. This is not on the best interest for Airbnb therefore Airbnb tries to get you to snooze your listing before you attempt to permanently delete it.

Like many people, you might end up “snoozing” your airbnb listing for 6 months which is the default option. After the six months “snoozing” period have passed, Airbnb will send you an email notification confirming your listing will go live again (see screenshot above) and you will start getting bookings and/or booking requests – depending on your settings – again. You might miss that email from Airbnb and you might end up having bookings you do not want.

Therefore you want to ensure that instead of snoozing your listing, you actually permanently delete it.

Remember that you can always create a new airbnb listing from scratch at anytime.

Follow this steps to permanently delete your Airbnb listing:

1. Login to airbnb with the account you have as a host of the listing you want to delete.
2. Go to your listing page.
3. Click on “edit” your listing
4. Click on “de-activate” your listing – instead of “snoozing” your listing.
5. Confirm you want to permanently delete your listing.
6. Viola! Your Airbnb listing should have been deleted.
